Generally more popular with Asian females.

American
American tiles are smaller and thinner.
Tiles are played on racks similar to the game Scrabble. 





















Japanese
Japanese tiles are thicker and more squarish.
Tiles are not easily toppled like the standard tiles.

Doubles: Limit

Pay out: Limit + Self drawn

Difficulty Level: Extremely Difficult


Winning Hand:

门胡 refers to winning hand where a player wins the round on the first drawn tile.
- The winning hand cannot be won by Player1(dealer)
- The winning hand can be won by Player2/3/4
- The winning hand must be the first drawn tile
- The winning hand must form 4 sets of melds and a pair of eyes.
- The winning hand does not need to have any Doubles.
